God Can Save the Family
There are some cases in God’s Word, where families were saved
The father, mother, all their children knew they were depraved
They heard the Gospel, all believed and each one was forgiven
They received eternal life and each one went to Heaven.
Two such cases in the Bible, found in Acts sixteen
The lady’s name was Lydia with understanding keen
She was baptized and all her house, for each of them believed
In Philippi, the jailer’s house, the Savior all received.
Cornelius, had all his house assembled just to hear
Peter preached, Christ saved their souls; became their Savior dear
A ruler of the synagogue, one Crispus, came to Christ
And all his family came, too; God’s grace for them sufficed.

All were saved by grace through faith; with families, it’s true
Salvation, though, is personal; no one can trust for you
Be sure you’ve placed your trust in Christ and He will save you too!
