The LORD is on His Throne
Some would have us run away
For fear of wicked men
They tell us not to trust the LORD
But through Him we must win.
For wicked men have bent their bow
Their arrows on the string
To shoot at upright men in heart
But hear the righteous sing!
The righteous man can never flee
The LORD is on His throne
His eyelids try the sons of men
Their heart a heart of stone.
He soon shall rain upon them wrath
As never seen before
Both fire and brimstone from the skies
When Judah’s Lion shall roar.
