Destruction of Tyre
God destroyed Tyre one day – Isaiah tells the tale
Merchants weeping for their loss – No foreign goods to sale.
A fleet of merchant ships would leave – In three years, then return
But now that port, no longer there – A cause of great concern.
God brought armies from afar – Assyria hit hard
Then Babylonia came too – And left their calling card.
There’s nothing left of this great port – God’s judgment fell on them
Destruction’s coming to our world – For unbelief, condemned.
