To Write a Book

To Write a Book

Some day I’d like to write a book
And tell the world to stop and look
To check their core beliefs and see
That Bible truth will set them free.

And in that book, I’d like to tell
Them how to save their souls from hell
By trusting in the Lord and Christ
Who for our sins was sacrificed.

And how this Christ, the world forsook
And by their wicked hands they took
The One who’d save from utter loss
And nailed Him to a cruel cross.

Of course we know that Book was written
About the Savior who was smitten
Yet many people won’t believe
Will you trust Christ and life receive?
