What was this all about?

He saw her bathing from his roof
Her beauty caught his eye

Had he gone there to spy?

Uriah’s wife, adultery
Between the two took place
Conception of a little babe
The king just fell from grace.

He tried to cover up his sin
Her husband, in the grave
The baby taken by the Lord
The Lord, his sin forgave.
