The intersection of God’s love
And justice in the cross
The Lamb who takes away our sin
There, suffered pain and loss.
The sinless Son alone could die
For all the sin of man
God is love and God is just
Amazing in His plan.
Excruciating pain He bore
God’s wrath upon Him poured
Divine wrath the verdict gave
God’s Lamb was then restored.
Our sin and guilt upon Him laid
The sun refused to shine
Our great sin debt the Savior paid
I’m saved from wrath divine!
